David Mitchell ‘Contours’ Album Launch. Somerset based guitarist, David Mitchell, invites you to attend the launch of his debut solo album, ‘Contours’. The evening will feature a collection of classical, traditional and contemporary folk tunes performed sensitively on classical guitar.
David Mitchell describes his guitar playing as “Folk-Classical fingerstyle”, combining these genres to create a beautiful and unique take on some well known pieces and traditional folk tunes as well as performing his own original compositions.
In addition to being a talented musician, David trained as a luthier at Newark and Sherwood College and uses a Classical Guitar that he crafted himself.

The concert will take place in the Andrew Room on the 1st floor of the Crewkerne Museum, there is access by both stairs & lift and disabled toilet facilities on the ground floor.
